LONELY. The first piece of the 99 MENAGERIE series of animals. The concept came from some initial sketch exploration, looking at the issues surroundig climate change for polar bears. The gum tattoo sadly says it all. I wanted to portray him with dignity, strength- the king of ice bears.
 
Printed on the finest German etching paper, a heavy stock paper with slight texture. Each will have an inch border, to set the image. Edges can be deckled upon request (i.e. hand torn). 
 
All numbered, 99 of each size, hand signed and titled by artist. Giclee printed, to last unfaded up to 100 years.
